You canregisteronline by filling out the form available on this website. Your application will be considered valid only if the form is completed in its entirety and the registration fee has been paid.

MASTERCLASS COST

Registration includes insurance.

• 100.00 euros, to be paid at the time of registration.
• 350.00 euros Masterclass fee, payable by the deadline of June 20, 2026
• 50.00 euros Shuttle fee for the entire duration of the Festival.

There will be at least 4 or 5 classes, at the discretion of the instructor.

SHUTTLE COST

• 50.00 euros

A shuttle service is availableevery day at scheduled times and with a set frequency to transport students from the hotel to the castle and back (2.5 km).

In addition,it will provide transportation for students tothe villages in the Roero region that will host the events and thatare participating in the MACF Festival Alta Formazione nel Roero project.

The workshop is open to all instrumentalists who wish to receive guidance on musical language and how to approach jazz improvisation—specifically, the spontaneous creation of music based on harmony—in order to develop a constructive awareness and understanding, with personally fulfilling artistic outcomes aimed at rounding out their musical and sensory training and instincts, while also taking into account the opportunities that may arise in the future within the professional jazz world.

COST FOR AUDITORS

• 150.00 euros, including insurance.

Auditors will be able to attend all of the Masters’ lectures, including the two (2) sessions with theMindfulness coordinator and any sessions with the violin-making coordinator.

YOUNG FESTIVAL COST

The young musician will have at least 4 out of 5 lessonswith a student from the advanced courses, under the supervision of the assigned instructor, at times to be determined with the Festival TEAM

Please remember to make your dinner reservation at theCasta Hotel in the morning at the front desk.If the reservation is canceled without prior notice, the cost will still be charged to your room.

REFUNDS

Refunds will be issued only ifthe organizationis forced to cancel the masterclass for reasons beyond the students’ control.

In the event of illness coinciding with the start of the Masterclass, and upon presentation of a medical certificate, only the course fee will be refunded.

If you become ill during the Masterclass, tuition fees will not be refunded. Missed classes cannot be made up.

Payment of the attendance fee must be made by bank transfer

ADMISSIONS

The courses are open to musicians of all nationalities, with no age restrictions, but who have a proven level of skill.

talented music professionals , offering them post-academic music masterclasses

For those who work or aspire to work as professionals in the music industry, this offersan opportunity for professional and career growth.

The Artistic Director has the discretion, where possible, to grant access to the masterclasses to very young students with exceptional instrumental and musical talent.

Students participating asfull-time students in one of the masterclasses may attend the classes of any other instructor—including the jazz improvisation workshop, music therapy workshops, and instrument-making workshops—free of charge as auditors.

CLASS MANAGEMENT

Students are classified as regular students and auditors.

Each teacher will provide at least 4 or 5 lessons per student, each lasting approximately one hour; the schedule will be set by each teacher based on the needs of each class and the number of students. Lessons will be held exclusively in person.

The Festival will provide an accompanist for the scheduled student concerts, following a rehearsal arranged with the staff representatives.

Each student will perform a piece lasting no morethan 7 minutesin concert. Please adhere to the time limits set by the Artistic Director.

Applicants must inform their assigned instructor of the repertoire they intend to perform at the timeof registration.

In any case, students are required to bring printed copies of the scores, parts, and piano reductions of the pieces they intend to perform in concert.

Each student will receive a schedule listing all class times, lunch and dinner times,and shuttle schedules to the towns partnering with the Festival, where the events—which will take place every day at 9:00 p.m.—will be held.

Please note that to use the shuttle bus during the Festival, you must pay a fee of 50.00 euros at the time of registration.

ORCHESTRA REHEARSALS

There will be several mandatory orchestra rehearsals as part of the project, culminating in a final concert on the morning of July 12, 2026.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Compliance with these regulations, attendance at all instrument and orchestrarehearsals , participation in events held during the Festival, and respect for people and property

In addition to artistic ability, the following factors will be decisive in determining scholarship awards, at the sole discretion of the Artistic Director, in consultation withthe relevant instructors.

WELCOME

Depending on availability, homestay arrangements with local families are available for students with documented financial hardship.

SAFETY NOTES

During classes, students are responsible for their own safety and the safety of their instruments.

The Organizationis not liable for damage to property or injury to persons.

Rules Governing the Stay of Foreigners in Italy

Under international agreements on medicalcare, foreign students from European Union member states are required to provide Form E/111.

Students from non-EU countries, on the other hand, must submit proof of healthinsuranceto the Registrar’s Office.

VIDEO FOOTAGE

Byregistering, participants give their consent to radio and television recordings and broadcasts, as well as to the capture of images, audio, and videoduring thelessons, rehearsals, and concerts of the MACF MAGLIANO ALFIERI CLASSIC FESTIVAL ALTO PERFEZIONAMENTO NEL ROERO, carried outby the organizeritself or by persons or institutions acting on its behalf.

Specifically, the participant grantsthe organizationall rights toany image, audio, and video recordings for any use related tothe event.

The organizationreserves the right to use images, audio recordings, and video recordings for promotional purposes in connection with this event or future events, or to publish the audio and video recordings for demonstration and promotional purposes.

ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Registrationfor the MACF MAGLIANO ALFIERI CLASSIC FESTIVAL FOR ADVANCED TRAINING IN THE ROERO region implies full and unconditional acceptance of these rules. In the event of any disputes, the Italian-language version of the rules shall be legally binding. Legal action is hereby excluded.
